Chitwan Jungle Safari:

Located in the lush plains of the Terai region in southern Nepal, Chitwan Jungle Safari is one of the country’s top destinations for jungle adventures. The Cliff Bungee Jump:

It is situated in Kushma, 57Km west of Pokhara and stands as one of the world's most exhilarating adventure experiences. Perched 228 meters (749 feet) above the Kaligandaki River, this bungee jump is the second highest globally, offering an adrenaline rush like no other. The jump platform is situated on a 520-meter-long suspension bridge connecting the Parbat and Baglung districts, providing breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and river gorge. The site also features additional activities such as the world's highest canyon swing, tandem swings, sky cycling, and a sky chair, making it a premier destination for thrill-seekers.

Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, a representative from Taleju Adventure will greet you with a placard bearing your name. You’ll be transferred to your Taleju Boutique Hotel or hotel of your choice.

Day 1

A private vehicle will take you from Kathmandu to Charaudi, which is about a 3-hour drive from Kathmandu. From there, you will start your white water rafting. It covers a distance of around 38 kilometers. Your luggage will be dispatched in your vehicle to the end point, Kurintar. You will have lunch after finishing rafting and take the same vehicle to go to Chitwan. We wrap up the day after check-in at hotel in Chitwan.

Day 2

Today you will join different activities in Chitwan National Park. 

  • Breakfast 
  • Elephant back safari

Elephant safari is the most popular wildlife activity in Chitwan. Elephant guide you through the jungles; we can see many wild animals like Deer, wild boar, one horn Rhino and Bengal Tiger. 

  • Lunch 
  • Canoe ride

Canoeing ride along the Rapti river inside the Chitwan National Park and take a close view of Crocodiles, rare species of birds, reptiles and other wild animals. 

  • Visit elephant breeding center

This Elephant Breeding center is opened in 1984. You can see both babies and adults elephant. 

  • Dinner
  • Watch Tharu cultural program
Day 3

After breakfast, you will be heading to Pokhara by road in a tourist coach. It will be 6-7 hours drive. Upon check-in hotel, rest of the day will be free and easy. Enjoy the evening stroll in the bank of Phewa lake!

Day 4

Following breakfast, you will be transferred to paragliding take off station at Sarangkot. Sarangkot is a scenic hilltop near Pokhara, offering panoramic vistas of snow-capped peaks, the Pokhara Valley, and Phewa Lake. After landing, you will be heading for sightseeing tour, beginning with a visit to the International Mountain Museum, which showcases the history, culture, and achievements of the Himalayan mountaineering world. Next, explore the mystical Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, located near the scenic Davis Falls—a powerful waterfall that disappears into an underground tunnel. The day concludes with a peaceful visit to the World Peace Pagoda (Shanti Stupa), a symbol of peace situated atop a hill overlooking Phewa Lake.

Day 5

A private vehicle will drive you to Kushma, covering approximately 57Km in about two hours. It is home to world’s second highest bungee jumping site. It is constructed in a suspension bridge that connects two districts i.e. Parbat and Baglung. Enjoy your adrenaline rush with the jump. You can engage in other activities like canyon swing, tandem swings, sky cycling etc. Rest of the day is for you to explore the local culture and people. Overnight in the Cliff resort.

Day 6

After breakfast, we will drive to Kathmandu via Pokhara. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, the rest of the day is free for you to rest or enjoy some souvenir shopping.

Day 7

A Taleju Adventure representative will escort you to the airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. On your way home, you may plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.

Useful Information

Some notes on white water river rafting:

Rafting in the Trishuli River can be suitable for a wide range of people, but it ultimately depends on your physical abilities, interests, and preferences. Here are some factors to consider to determine if it is suitable for you: 

  • Physical fitness: Rafting can be physically demanding, and you will need to be in good physical shape to handle the rapids and paddle for several hours. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, it's best to consult your doctor before planning your rafting trip. 
  • Age: There's no age limit for rafting on the Trishuli River, but you should be at least 12 years old and in good physical condition. 
  • Experience: Trishuli River has rapids ranging from class II to class III, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced rafters. If you are a beginner, you can still enjoy the rafting experience by choosing a less challenging route and going with an experienced guide.
  • Comfort level: Rafting involves some level of risk, and you will need to be comfortable with being on the water and wearing safety gear such as a life jacket and helmet.

Preparation for river rafting:

White water river rafting is a thrilling adventure activity that requires some preparation beforehand. Here are some things to keep in mind to ensure a safe and enjoyable rafting experience: 

  • Physical Fitness: Rafting requires a moderate level of fitness, so it's important to be in good physical shape. Regular exercise and cardio activities like running, swimming, or cycling can help you prepare for the trip. 
  • Clothing: Make sure to wear comfortable clothes that can get wet. Avoid wearing cotton, as it takes a long time to dry. Quick-drying clothes like polyester or nylon are better options. 
  • Footwear: Wear shoes or sandals with good grip, as you will be walking on slippery rocks and wet surfaces. Avoid wearing flip-flops or sandals without straps.  Sunscreen and Insect Repellent: Bring sunscreen and insect repellent to protect your skin from the sun and insect bites. 
  • Hydration: Drink plenty of water before the trip and bring water bottles with you. Dehydration can be a serious issue during rafting. 
  • Safety Gear: We will provide you with a life jacket and a helmet. Make sure they fit properly and wear them at all times during the trip. 
  • Camera: Bring a waterproof camera to capture the scenic views and memorable moments of the trip. 
  • Follow the Guide: Always listen to the guide's instructions and follow their lead. They are experienced and know how to navigate the river safely. 
  • Respect the Environment: Keep the river and its surroundings clean and respect the local culture and customs.
